I’m so tired of my friends complaining about how broke they are. It’s not like I’m exactly making it rain over here, but you don’t hear me crying about it all day long. Maybe it’s just their way of trying to get me to pay for their latte? I don’t know, but I know I don’t like it.
My friend Erica the other day was going on and on about how she messed up her credit by going nuts buying stuff online. She starts telling me it’s not fair and that her job should pay her more. Really? First of all, she doesn’t even look for deals, she buys direct from big sites like Nordstrom that sell everything for full price. Hello! It’s called Amazon. While she was boo-hooing, she was wearing a $250 pair of True Religion jeans. Just saying. Btw, if you have a similar problem I suggest you try eBay. I use this site to find nice jeans at cheapo prices.
Another thing, it seems my friends that complain the most about not having $ are the ones who always have to have the latest cell phone with the fancy over priced data package/unlimited everything. Is this a coincidence? I think not. Maybe learn to save here and there and then you won’t have to check your checking account balance before you super size your next dang happy meal. Feel me?
